今回はアメリカから来られたジョンさんに西土佐地区の観光を楽しんでいただきました。以下はジョンさんがツアーを体験した感想の後半です。
This time we had John from the U.S. enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Nishitosa area.

次に訪れたのは四万十市西土佐地区に昔からある「焼肉 よこやま」というお店。
A more familiar type of restaurant to be found in Shimanto City is a Yakiniku place called Yokoyama.
私は肉と野菜が大好きでよく食しているのだが、ここで提供されたお肉は上質で私の想像をはるかに超える夢見心地の味わいだった。
I do love steak and vegetables and the high-quality steak served here was a dream to my palate.
部位ごとに切り分けられた肉と各種の野菜を自分好みに焼き、2種類あるタレにつけて食べた。その味わいはまさに天国！
Since this was a yakiniku style steak house, I was able to cook the steaks and vegetables to my liking and dip in the sauces available. The taste is heavenly.
私たちをもてなしてくれた店長の横山元紀(よこやまげんき)さんはお肉に関してたくさん話してくれて、楽しい人物だった。
今回の西土佐地区への旅をしめくくるにふさわしい素敵な体験だった。
Genki-san was our host. He was informative and a pleasure. This was a very enjoyable experience to top of the visit.

今回向かった西土佐地区は、高知市から車で約2時間離れた四万十市にあります。綺麗な四万十川に沿った道中は見どころ一杯なので、是非行ってみてはいかがでしょうか。
The Nishitosa area we visited this time is located in Shimanto City, about two hours away from Kochi City by car. There are many place to see along the beautiful Shimanto River, so why don’t you visit?
